Delete Your SlateIt Account

1. Overview

This page explains how you can delete your SlateIt account and the data associated with it. SlateIt is an AI-enabled group task management tool for small and medium businesses (SMBs) provided by One Differential Private Limited ("One Differential", "we", "our", or "us").

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. After you delete your account, you will not be able to sign in to the deleted account again, and your profile and private data will be removed.

2. How to Delete Your Account (in-app)

The simplest and recommended way to delete your account is from within the SlateIt app, where you are already signed in. This method verifies your identity automatically so only you can delete your own account.

1. Open the SlateIt app on your device and sign in.
2. Tap your profile row at the bottom of the navigation rail.
3. Tap Delete My Account.
4. Review the summary of what will be deleted and what will be kept.
5. Confirm by tapping Delete My Account.
6. Your identity is re-verified, the account and its data are deleted, and you are signed out.

3. What Gets Deleted

Deleting your account removes your private data, including:

• Your profile information (name, email, photograph, and preferences);
• Groups and channels you created;
• Your tasks and threaded comments;
• Your conversations and messages, including voice notes and files you shared;
• Your notes and reminders;
• Your calendar connections and sync data;
• Your notification preferences; and
• Your SlateIt account itself, including your sign-in with the underlying account provider.

4. What Is Kept

To preserve the workspace for other members, certain shared content is retained:

• Messages and contributions you made in a group may remain visible to remaining group members as part of the group's history; and
• Records required to be retained by applicable law (such as transaction and subscription records) are retained for the legally required period, as described below.

5. Retention Periods

After you delete your account:

• Account and profile information: deleted, with data recoverable for up to 30 days after deletion to allow for account recovery and fraud prevention;
• Authentication logs (Firebase): retained for 90 days for security and fraud-prevention purposes;
• Transaction and subscription records (RevenueCat, App Store, Play Store): retained for 8 years to comply with applicable Indian tax and accounting laws; and
• Shared group content: retained as part of the group history as described in Section 4 above.

6. Requesting Deletion by Email

If you are unable to delete your account from within the app, you may submit a deletion request by emailing us from the email address registered on your account:

For your protection, we will verify your identity before processing the request. Please note that email requests are processed manually and may take up to 30 days from verification. The same deletion and retention rules described above apply.
